REGISTER TO VOTE BEFORE HEADING OFF TO COLLEGE

There are so many different things college students need to do before they head off to college.  Don’t forget to put registering to vote on that list.

Will County Clerk Nancy Schultz Voots wants to remind new and returning college students to register to vote or update their voter registration information.  “This way, students will not have to worry if they are registered to vote before the March 20, 2018 General Primary,” Voots stated.

Registering to Vote or updating voter information is as easy as visiting www.thewillcountyclerk.com and clicking on the Register to Vote quick link.  College students who are Will County residents can mail in a registration form, register on-line, or register in person.  If a college student is currently registered to vote in Will County and has moved within Will County, they can complete the Voter Registration Change of Address form on the website.  If they are no longer a resident of Will County, they need to re-register with the election authority in the county where they currently live.
