FILERS: Submitting Your Statement of Economic Interests

FREQUENTLY ASKED QUESTIONS

SYSTEM FAQs

Q:  I’ve entered my Filer ID and registration key, but they don’t work.  How do I log in?
A:  When entering your registration key, make sure that you aren’t entering the letter “l” instead of the number “1” or vice versa.  You should also make sure you aren’t entering the letter “O” instead of the number “0”.  Enter your registration key in LOWER CASE only!

Q:  I’ve logged in and created a password, but I can’t remember it – how can I reset my password?
A:  You can click on “Forgot your password?” and enter your Filer ID so a new password can be generated and sent to the e-mail on file for you.  Then once you get in, change your password to something you can remember.

Q:  I was able to log in previously, but now I can’t.  What should I do?
A:  Be sure to click “Already a User” if you have already registered your account.  Make sure you are attempting to log in with the username (it should be your Filer ID) and password you created.

Q:  How do I exit the system?
A:  Always be sure to click the LOGOUT button on the screen in your filer module.  We strongly recommend you use this button to effectively close out of your session.

Q:  What if I do not have an e-mail address? Is it required?
A:  An e-mail address is required, but if you do not have one just enter NOEMAIL@NOEMAIL.COM into the e-mail field.

Q:  Question #7, I want to list information I cannot find in the drop down menus.  What should I do?
A:  The fields displayed meet the statutory requirement.  If you insist on providing more information, contact our office at (815) 740 – 4628 to request a paper form.
